Criteria for Attendance acknowledgment

  • When a student take a class for more than 100% of each lessons in line with the assigned learning hours by logging in to the on-line class room, the attendance will be acknowledged. Here, 'Assigned learning hours' is a minimum time, necessary for a learner to understand the contents of lessons.

Attendance Management Policy (Attendance Approval)

Approval Scope : In case of failing to sign up for the class inevitably due to business trip to remote areas or long hospitalization which is unable to use the internet.
Attendance can be approved after submitting evidential documents and reviewing those documents.
In this case, the duration of a business trip or hospitalization shall exceed the scope of Attendance Approval Period.

Applying period : Notice at the 13th week of the semester and receive the application for two weeks

How to apply : Download ‘Request for Attendance Approval’ at the homepage, attach reasonable documents and submit it to the staff in charge of attendance

Approval process : The Dean of Academic Affairs approves the Attendance Approval when the Request for Attendance Approval and attached documents are reasonable to approve.

Others : The Attendance Approval shall not exceed four weeks of the class hours per a semester.

Poor Attendance (Lack in Attendance Ratio)

It means the attendance ratio is failed to reach more than 75% of each course per a semester. Those who absent less than 25% of the class will be ‘Lack in Attendance Ratio’ and the GPA for that subject will be Failure(F). However, examinations(Mid-term and Final) are not included in the Attendance Ratio.
