Our University


Templeton University was founded in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1997. Templeton University’s predecessor is Henderson Christian University which was founded by Dr. HENDERSON BELK, His family owns the BELK department store group, the largest family in the US Franchise, TU’s campus is composed of five buildings (700,000ft2.)

The degree awarded by our university are as follows.


TU got the approval of US Department of Justice (INS), US Department of Treasury’s Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the State of North Carolina.(I-20)

In addition, the university’s courses are approved by the Federal Government as the State’s Higher Education Council regular course, and T.S.A. of Southern Accreditation. And AAATI Member University.

Recently, we have been expanding into the global online(WEB/APP) university, adding the courses such as humanities, management, ICT, and future strategies.

We are in accrediting the CHEA (Council for Higher Education Accreditation) under the US Department of Education. 

In order to become a global university, we have focused on the localization of each country and have designed learning models for the courses and faculty. Especially, ‘TU F²-Learning‘ among our learning methods is a new education system focused on students. It is a unique learning method that combines flip learning with excellent interactions between professors and students, and is a blended learning using ICT.

TU Global Campus is made up of students and alumni around the world. The new TU F²-Learning at Templeton University is expected to be recognized globally.

Language ability
All TU programs, including courses, are conducted in English. All students need English proficiency.
